Matthew J. Mansfield is an Associate in the Flagstaff and Scottsdale offices. His practice is focused on civil litigation, with emphasis in the following areas:
- Contract disputes and general business litigation.
- Real estate and construction related litigation, including administrative proceedings involving the Registrar of Contractors, Division of Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA), and other state and federal agencies.
- Employment litigation.
He also has experience representing employers in a wide range labor and employment issues, including counseling on human resources issues, compliance with state and federal law, wage and hour disputes/Department of Labor audits, unemployment claims and appeals, and EEOC and ARCD charges.
He received a B.A. in Communication cum laude from Arizona State University and his J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. During law school, he served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law. He also worked as a legal intern for Senator John McCain on the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, and as a legal intern for the City of Phoenix in Intergovernmental Relations.
